The Eagles today signed Leonard Weaver, the top available free agent fullback, to a one-year contract worth $1.7 million.Weaver spent his first four NFL seasons with the Seahawks as an undrafted street free agent out of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. SNY’s Michael Salfino recaps the Jets roster moves thus far on their website. Here’s a clip: Judging by asset allocation, the Jets are clearly emphasizing defense.
